Waste collection switches over to the Spring calendar starting next week, April 28! 🌱

This means that green food-scrap carts will switch from every two weeks to weekly collection, while black garbage carts will continue to be collected every two weeks.

If you need a paper calendar, for yourself, a relative or a friend, you can…

✅ Print it from the website

✅ Call 311 to request a printed copy be mailed to you at no charge

✅ Visit a local Edmonton Public Library branch to have one printed for between $0.10 and $0.50

Exciting progress on our new school build! 🏫
Construction is moving forward, and we’re one step closer to creating a space where students can learn, grow, and thrive. Stay tuned for more updates as things continue to take shape!

St. Patrick Catholic Elementary/Junior High School is the official name of our new Catholic K-9 school in River’s Edge.

Opening in Fall 2028, this school will serve Edgemont, River’s Edge, and Stillwater in West Edmonton. Inspired by St. Patrick’s life of faith and perseverance, the school encourages students to be bold in their beliefs and active in their communities. St. Patrick is remembered for his deep prayer life, missionary work in Ireland, and unwavering trust in God. His example continues to inspire hearts and minds.

The new name was approved by the Board of Trustees at today’s Public Board Meeting. Learn more at ecsd.net/schoolnames2025.

$500,000 in Fire Services Training Program grants awarded to 90 recipients—helping communities stay prepared and protected.
