A huge thank you to Wellington Co-op, our 2026 Summer Camp Title Sponsor! ☀️

Your support of our summer camp helps us create an amazing summer experience for our members, filled with exciting field trips, special events, hands-on activities, and lots of fun at the club. Your support also opens the door to opportunities and experiences for our members.

One of those opportunities is our annual tour of Wellington Co-op, where our members get to explore what goes on behind the scenes of a grocery store, check out the equipment and machines, and learn from the amazing Co-op team!

We’re so grateful to Wellington Co-op for investing in our members and helping us make summer camp such a memorable part of their summer. Thank you for helping us make it all possible! 💚

Last week, BGC Prince County hosted our first-ever Acadian Festival, bringing our community together for an afternoon filled with games, food, entertainment, and lots of Acadian pride! 🇫🇷🌟

A huge thank you to the Prince Edward Island Government for supporting this special event, as well as the many Acadian heritage initiatives taking place across the province.

We were thrilled to welcome special guests Rémi Boudreau and Mike Pendergast, who helped make the festival such a fun and memorable celebration! A special thank you as well to Boulangerie La Galette Blanche (Village Musical Acadien) for making delicious Acadian cuisine, and to Top Hat Party for bringing the fun with balloon twisting and face painting!

We were also so happy to have Randy Wi******er from the Wellington Legion join us. Thank you for your incredible support of BGC Prince County throughout the summer!

With only a couple of weeks remaining in our 2026 Wellington Co-op Summer Camp, this festival was the perfect way to connect with our community — celebrating Acadian Heritage Month and an important part of PEI’s history and culture! 💙
