Hey hockey fans… Saturday night is the Wellesley Community Food Cupboard night at the Apple Jacks game. Come out and show your support. Take in some awesome hockey as the Apple Jacks take on the Tavistock Braves in the playoff semifinals. Non perishable food items and cash donations will be collected at the gate. GO JACKS!!

What a wonderful surprise found in the donation box this week. A package with everything a parent would want for their child’s birthday… cake mix, frosting, sprinkles, birthday candles, birthday plates, balloons and a Happy Birthday banner. The package also came with the following note: from a child who wants to be sure another child has a birthday party. What a wonderful thought! # # Caring For Neighbours.

Did you ever wonder what a mountain of food looks like? Well, here you go. Shoutout to the students and staff at Wellesley Public School who held their annual food drive for the Wellesley Community Food Cupboard. This year’s effort is truly the largest single food drive drop off ever! The cherry on the cake was the additional $964 in cash donations collected. Thank you to all who participated.

Today’s the day! 🎅🏻

The Food Cupboard is thrilled to join in the festivities at this year’s Christmas Parade.

With help from our amazing friends at and .centre.stars our volunteers will be walking the parade route to collect free-will cash donations, household and non-perishable food items in support of local families. 💚

📅 TODAY (Dec. 12)
🕒 Parade leaves the Wellesley Recreation Complex at 6:45 p.m.

✨ Every donation makes a difference right here in our community. Let's make this season brighter together. 🤝

Can’t make it to the parade? 🤔

➡️ For a limited time, you will find donation bins for household/non-perishable food items in the lobby of the Bill Gies Recreation Centre and the St. Clements Arena.
