📚 We’re up to 130 books and want every book to have a bookmark! ❤️

Crafting for a Cause partnered with Faith Welland Outreach, where their seniors are creating handmade bookmarks for children in the Dominican Republic.

We originally put out a call for $5 donations with a goal of purchasing 40 Spanish children’s books. Thanks to an overwhelming response, we were able to purchase 130 books! 🎉

My grandkids joined in and made these special bookmarks, and now we’re hoping to have a handmade bookmark for every book. ❤️

Want to make a few too? I have the bookmark blanks. Just use your imagination and decorate! 🎨

What we often take for granted can be a real treat for a child. 💕

We are happy to have partnered with Samaritan Foundation who will be distributing the books and bookmarks.

Crafting for a Cause had a busy week!

Mama was back in the kitchen for a Pepper Sauce Workshop supporting Faith Welland Outreach, and Friday night we were crafting and raising funds for Niagara Nutrition Partners. Many also brought food donations to support their work with local children.
Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Together, $690 was raised for two great organizations!

We’re looking forward to our next Crafting for a Cause event this Friday at Niagara Nutrition Partners! 💕

Our craft night will be supporting the amazing work Niagara Nutrition Partners does to provide nutritious snacks to children in our community.

Would you like to contribute? Every little bit helps!

We’re also collecting:
🍎 Applesauce
🥣 Cereal
🍫 Nut-free granola bars

We’ll be taking these donations with us to help support their important work.

Thank you for helping us make a difference.

Helping end school day hunger, one bite at a time!🍎👩‍🏫
