We hope you had your fill of summer fun, because we’re ready to kick off the start of fall! The WCA is back to host our fall event! Join us for what our Chair refers to as “badmin-corn” on September 20th from 1pm-3pm at Westwind Park (same location as the summer picnic).

We’ll have FREE corn to enjoy, badminton set up to play, lawn games to beat, and a new nature art activity led by a neighbour! Just bring yourself, your family and friends, and something to sit on. We’ll see you there!

If you haven't already, check out our Westvale pollinator garden in Bolingbrooke Park. It is spectacular! And walk all the way around it - there are different blooms at the back.

A big THANK YOU to all the Westvale volunteers that have worked on the garden over the years - it wouldn't look this good without your help.

ICYMI the first ever FREE Westvale Family Swim is this Friday (July 24th). Registration to attend closes on July 23rd at 7pm; follow the link to register:

The free swim takes place on July 24th from 7:15pm-8:45pm at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex. Simply let the front desk know you’re attending the Westvale Family Swim for free entry.

Remember, you MUST REGISTER in order to save your place to attend for free. And when you attend, we ask that you respect the rules and others, and of course have fun!

Join us for Westvale's first Free Family Swim!

When: Friday July 24 from 7:15pm to 8:45pm
Where: Waterloo Memorial Recreation Centre on Father David Bauer Drive.

We will be swimming during a regular public swim time, but it is free for Westvale residents. When you arrive, just tell the staff that you are part of the Westvale Family Swim.
