SFPR is a student-run organization that advocates on a strong social justice platform to uphold the rights of the Palestinian people in the face of human rights violations Mission:

1- To educate UW students and the larger community about the ongoing Palestinian-Israeli conflict, and the effects of the illegal occupation of Palestinian territories on the lives of ordinary Palestinians.

2- To moti

vate the community to voice their opinion on this issue through non-violent, legal means such as petitioning the Canadian government.

3- To work for a more balanced and fair representation of the Palestinian people in the media, and respond to biased coverage of Pro-Palestinian events.

**SFPR is not against any ethnic or religious group, including the Jewish people, as we view this matter as an issue of international law and human rights.
