CIDO's Board of Directors, our Canadian donors, supporters, and volunteers congratulate the Mariam Foundation on the opening of the Mariam Theatre yesterday. The Mariam Foundation, as the largest organization supporting Palestinian cancer patients in Gaza, the West Bank, and Nazareth, is marking yet another important milestone. The opening of the Mariam Theatre reflects a commitment not only to supporting those facing illness, but also to fostering culture, creativity, education, and community. CIDO is proud to partner with the Mariam Foundation and remains committed to working together in service of humanity and in support of Palestine. As Canadians, we are also proud of Canada’s recognition of Palestine last September and of our Prime Minister Mark Carney’s leadership and commitment to peace, dignity, and justice. This past February i had the distinct honor to meet and break bread with Bishop
THEODOSIOS OF SEBASTIA popularly known as ATALLAH HANNA the Palestinian Christian prelate who has served as the ARCHBISHOP of Sebastia for the GREEK ORTHODOX Patriarchate of Jerusalem since 2005 the 2nd PalestinianArchbishop in the history of the Diocese.
We discussed mush of what the Christians are subjugated to in Jerusalem.
