As we step into March, we are still reflecting on the powerful moments shared during our Black History Month event.
One of the most enlightening elements was our historical poster display.
The posters walked us through the legacy of Black excellence and resilience across the centuries beginning in the 1600s and tracing the journey through pivotal moments in history. They reminded us that Black history is not confined to a single month, but is a continuous story of strength, resistance, innovation, leadership, and impact.
From early struggles and systemic barriers to cultural influence, community building, and global contributions, the display created space for reflection, learning, and meaningful conversation.
Honouring the past helps us better understand the present and inspires us to build a stronger future.
