Here we are at the end of our 20th year raising money, reconnecting with friends, and shooting arrows for a great cause.
I've been having a rough time coming up with words for this post. If you know me, that doesn't happen very often 😁.
I mean it, I'm at a loss for words. Words are powerful. Words can deflate us. Words can hurt us. Words can uplift us. Words can motivate us.
We received so many kind, uplifting, motivating, humbling, and positive words from the Colby Classic, Shoot For A Cure, that it makes us feel like anything we can say is by small comparison.
Our hats are off to you. The supporters of this wonderful shoot are the best of the best.
It's the amazing volunteers, the shooters, the families and friends that keep us going. It's the amazing staff at WRHN that support us any way they can. It's the guys and gals at Shooter's Choice who always come through. It's also my family that supports me. (Who is cutting onions in here?)
We will have to wait until we can get the exact dollar value that was donated through our Waterloo Regional Health Network Foundation - WRHNF link that they proudly keep on their page so anyone can support any time they want.
As of right now, we are at $12,000 before we see the WRHN number. Oh my goodness.... $12,000!!!!
I think I found my word....
PROUD. Simply, PROUD
