IAESTE is an international student exchange program that:
-enables Canadian students to gain international work experience through a paid and career-related job overseas.
-offers Canadian employers well-qualified student employees from abroad, the opportunity to develop their international contacts and, at the same time, to support Canadian students in gaining international experience.

anadian universities with the opportunity to become members.
-serves as a source of cultural enrichment for volunteers, students, employers and their community.
-helps to build technological understanding between Canada and other countries. IAESTE was founded in 1948, and is now located in over 90 countries. Canada joined the Association in 1953 as a full member andmore than 7,000 Canadian students have benefited from the program. Canadian employers have been supplied with well-qualified international employees and they have developed contacts for present and future academic and business connections. The program is recognized by International Experience Canada.
