The Zonta Club of Kitchener Waterloo supports the Zonta Club of Toronto in its call for action. Visit menstrualequipty.ca to send a letter to your Parliment member.

The Federal Menstrual Equity Fund, has helped communities across Canada provide free period products and stigma-busting menstrual health education. Unfortunately, this funding is scheduled to end in March of 2027. Organizations across Canada are asking the federal government to renew and expand this important investment by sending letters to their Members of Parliament. The website is menstrualequity.ca and there's a link "send your letter". All an advocate needs to do is fill in their postal code and name to generate the letter and it will automatically go to the appropriate MP.

Please send this out to all of friends and any other interested parties. This is a way that we can help make a Better World For Women and Girls who need this kind of support.

Across the world, transnational organized crime groups are trafficking and exploiting thousands of people and forcing them to take part in industrial-scale financial fraud operations. This is a growing form of trafficking in persons for forced criminality, closely intertwined with cybercrime, financial fraud, money-laundering and corruption.

On World Day against Trafficking in Persons 2026, UNODC calls for greater action to protect victims, and strengthen cross-border judicial and law enforcement cooperation to disrupt the transnational organized crime groups responsible.

⛳💛 We were proud to support the 34th Annual Betty Thompson Golf Classic hosted by the Zonta Club of Kitchener-Waterloo yesterday at the Conestoga Golf Club!

As a sponsor of the Putting Contest, we were thrilled to be part of an event that brings the community together while raising funds for important women's health initiatives. It was a fantastic day filled with great golf, great people, and an even greater cause.

Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and participants who helped make the tournament such a success. We're grateful for the opportunity to support an organization that continues to make a meaningful impact in our community and around the world.
