Our Story

Founded in 1947, our Chapter of the Canadian Council of the Blind Waterloo Regional Club (CCB Waterloo) offers social and support opportunities for the region’s visually impaired, blind and deaf-blind.

Our members enjoy monthly dinners followed by guest speaker or event. Dinners are held on the 4th Wednesday of every month from September to June at First United Church in Waterloo. Cost is $12.00 per person and dinners must be ordered one week ahead. Family or friends are also welcome to join us. To reserve your spot, email [email protected] or call or text 519-568-7816.

The dinner meetings are a good way to meet members in a non-judgemental and safe environment. You can also find out about our social outings and recreational activities.
