UW BASE - University of Waterloo Black Association for Student Expression The Black Association for Student Expression at the University of Waterloo.

We are the University of Waterloo Black Association for Student Expression, a FEDS club that seeks to:

1. Provide students with an establishment that offers peer mentorship and community outreach initiatives.

2. Promote diversity, cultural enlightenment and a heightened understanding of African diaspora.

3. Act as a medium for students to express themselves and to foster a stronger identity wit

hin the university demographic.

4. Welcome, respect, love and appreciate people of all colors and backgrounds and mixes thereof. The African diaspora refers communities throughout the world that are descended from the historic movement of peoples from Africa, predominantly to the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, among other areas around the globe.
