Friday I had the pleasure of delivering 50 homemade blankets to Laura at our local Child and Family Services of Grand Erie. These blankets will be going into Welcome baskets for new babies, which also include a teddy bear, a sleeper/outfit, other baby sundries, but more importantly resources for parents that may find themselves overwhelmed, and who doesn’t feel that when a new baby comes into the family!!
CFSGE I learned does so much more than we as a community realize, to work with many families to educate, support and keep them together as a unit, not to separate.

There are 72 beautifully hand crafted blankets by our blanketeers ready to be delivered between Child and Family Services of Grand Erie and Haldimand-Norfolk REACH

Very grateful to all who donated and thrilled that we now have so many new blanketeers!! Now we can extend our donations to other organizations! 🙏🧶❤️

I’ve just opened my chapter here in Norfolk County which is serving Norfolk/Haldimand, Brant County and Brantford areas.
I’m in need of persons that would be interested in making blankets for children that are experiencing duress in their lives. They can be of different materials (no wool please) and different sizes.
