SJHL The SJHL provides junior hockey players with the opportunity to compete at an elite level while striving to achieve their educational and career goals.

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) is interwoven into the social fabric of the province by representing twelve dynamic communities. Founded in 1968, the league is comprised of 12 teams compete for the SJHL Championship Cup each season. The teams are as follows:

Estevan Bruins
Melville Millionaires
Flin Flon Bombers
Nipawin Hawks
Humboldt Broncos
Notre Dame Hounds

Golden Bears Hockey is proud to announce the commitment of Pierce Yakimchuk for the 2026-27 season!

Yakimchuk had an incredible 3 seasons with the , posting 8 goals and 22 assists this past year. The physical defensemen had an amazing 2025-26 campaign leading the Bombers to a SJHL Canterra Seeds Cup and an impressive showing at the CJHL Centennial Cup. Pierce joins his older brother Aiden as the two look to dominate the blue line this upcoming season!
