The WAY (Wakefield Activities for Youth)

The Wakefield Activities for Youth (WAY) is a nonprofit organization that operates The Wakefield Youth Centre. All drop-in is free.

In its free program, WAY provides safe environments with opportunities to learn and grow for youth aged 10-17 by:

* Offering creative and innovative programming that will attract our target group
* Providing age-appropriate leadership opportunities
* Building relationships with other organizations and individuals that share our values, offering opportunities to participate and work together
* Enc

ouraging dialogue and interactions with all age groups
* Working as a team to create a healthy community

We're a safe space for kids to come hang out, relax, spend time with their friends and join in on awesome programming by the super cool youth centre staff! We let kids be kids, and the staff is there to be friends, confidants and most importantly, make sure EVERYONE has fun! Registration is now open! The WAY, in collaboration with the MRC and Triple 7, is putting on DJ Workshops. Free of charge for youth aged 12+ that attend our drop-in program (can sign up anytime). For more information and registration, go to www.wakefieldyouth.ca/dj-workshop

Come one, come all! We're celebrating the season with a little bake sale party at The WAY on our last drop-in night before the break. Proceeds will go directly to refreshing some equipment used at The WAY.

The WAY will be at this years' Youth Maker's Market put at the CWLP. Come join for youth created crafts, baked goods, and help support our local youth.
