We want you to take a moment and see what a dog looks like when he’s seen a ghost😱
We had three of the most beautiful ladies help us with our ghost Halloween photos: Connie, Jackie and Danyelle.
Connie, who is allergic to animals, had to lift her sheet every time a new animal came for a picture so she could see them. That’s how much she loves them! Jackie and Danyelle were down on the floor, playing with and loving on every ferret.
These three stayed out in the cold and helped our shelter raise $200!
Then along came Leny. Now, I know Leny, so I knew he was going to lose his mind the second his mom walked away. I just forgot to share that little detail with Jackie.
I reassured her that he was best kind. I don’t think she believed me.
Then I told her he wouldn’t bite because he didn’t have any teeth. Oddly enough, that didn’t seem to make her feel any better either.
But in the end, Jackie and Leonard formed a very special bond. He made it to her profile pic lol. Danyelle’s ghost face somehow managed to look like she was completely over it. And when I looked behind me, Connie was sitting in the vehicle warming her feet, with her ghost costume wedged in the door.
From where I was standing, the whole thing was priceless.😂
Thank you, ladies, for the laughs, the cold feet and the love you showed our animals. We love you dearly❤️
