CCEDNet's Executive Director, Celina Caesar-Chavannes, was on CityNews yesterday commenting on the Government of Canada's announcement of around $100 billion in military investments.

This commitment comes at a time when we know, following our field needs assessment, that demand for programs, services, and financing is broadly and strongly increasing across the social economy (according to 77% of our assessment participants) and CED organizations are facing financial instability due to funding uncertainty and access to capital is the overwhelming pressure (71% of participants).
