BIG NEWS: The BC government is DOUBLING its trades-training investment over the next three years! In Sussanne's words, "It’s exactly what we need right now. This is how you build a strong, resilient economy: by investing in the workers who make it run."

A few years ago, the BC NDP brought in a renewed trade certification system. And with today's announcement by Premier David Eby, the province is poised to be a national leader in skilled trades training.

It's a remarkable comeback from the days when the BC Liberals slashed skilled trades training and gutted the regulations underlying trade certification.

As Hermender says, "I’m thrilled thinking of all the opportunities this is going to mean, especially for young workers just entering the workforce."
