We’re gearing up for the biennial Point in Time (PiT) Count & Survey, and we need your support!

The PiT Count provides vital data on homelessness in our region - helping planners, funders, and agencies develop effective responses and track progress toward ending homelessness.

📅 March 26th (PiT Count) and April 2nd (Magnet Event)
Flexible volunteer shifts available!
💡 Roles include survey volunteers, team leads, administrative support, and more.

Victoria Artistic Swimming .asc , in cooperation with Canada Artistic Swimming is hosting one of the sport’s biggest Canadian events, at Saanich Commonwealth Place! National Qualifiers, followed by the Canadian University Artistic Swimming League, will run March 16-23 2025, and will feature Canada’s top ~500 artistic swimming (formerly synchronized swimming) athletes. These events will rely on field of play, hospitality, and transportation volunteers to deliver an exceptional experience to attending athletes, judges, officials, coaches, staff, spectators and more. 🙌A variety of volunteer positions and shifts are available – we welcome potential volunteers to sign up for as many or as few as work for them. Commitment is typically between two and six hours per shift; related experience is not required. 50 years ago today, December 4th 1974, Volunteer Victoria officially registered and became Volunteer Victoria, well, the Greater Victoria Volunteer Society, to be exact!

Thank you to all the volunteers, volunteer managers, volunteer leaders, and staff in volunteer led groups, and in schools and community centres, who make this community strong and resilient. We appreciate all of you!!
