With the love and support of the Greater Victoria community, CFAX Santas Anonymous Society is now celebrating 45 years of helping children in Greater Victoria. It is one of Victoria’s longest running children’s charity 98% driven by volunteers. The Christmas Program provides wishes and hampers to over 2,500 children and their families each year (1,200 families) CFAX Santas Anonymous Society helps

create lifelong memories of Christmas for children and for those who donate. More than a Christmas charity … helping continues throughout the year through the More for the Kids Grant Program, funding hunger, mental health, education and the families in crisis for children in need in the Greater Victoria area.

✅ Important: Camp participation requires completing VTRA’s regular intake process, including physician’s forms.

💛 Happy International Women’s Day! 💛

Women are incredible — resilient, compassionate, and confident. But not all children grow up feeling that same strength. Poverty, trauma, and instability can make the path especially hard for young girls.

That’s why, through our children’s grant program, we’re proud to support PEACE Camps at Victoria Women’s Transition House. Because we believe that supporting children today means helping shape the strong, confident women of tomorrow. ✨

In honor of Valentine’s Day coming up, we’re spreading love all week! First up, KATS (Society for Kids at Tennis), an incredible organization we’ve proudly supported for over 10 years.

Watch these love letters open and see the real impact of supporting kids in our community. 💌

Established in 2013 by Dr. Sy Silverberg, a retired physician, KATS has welcomed over 20,000 children and youth to their classes here in Victoria, BC. Their programs provide free tennis lessons in a supportive, inclusive environment, helping children thrive while building skills and self-esteem that shine both on and off the court! 🎾

💚 We are incredibly grateful to be chosen once again as Bottle Depot's Charity of the Month for November, December, and January.

Thanks to Bottle Depot, and everyone who brought in their returnables, we raised $17,227.50!

This donation will go toward kids’ camp subsidies, helping children build confidence, make friends, and enjoy the excitement of camp!

From the end of November through early January, Fairways Market in Greater Victoria ran their annual Holiday Giving Grab Bag fundraiser in support of CFAX Santas Anonymous, raising an astonishing $29,493.47!

When you donate your returnables at Bottle Depot, those dollars stay right here in our community, making a real local impact. All proceeds go toward sending kids to spring camp through our Children’s Special Grants program.

🌍📚 Happy International Day of Education!

At Santa’s Anonymous, we know just how important education is in helping kids grow, build confidence, and discover their potential.

Last year, through our Children’s Special Grants program, we were proud to support programs that make learning fun and accessible for kids across Greater Victoria, including:

1) 1,000x5 Children’s Book Recycling – giving babies and toddlers their first books and a head start on reading.
2) Victoria Literacy Connections – 1:1 reading support and after-school programs that help children gain confidence and improve their skills.
3) Salvation Army Connection Point – making sure 50 kids got the back-to-school supplies they needed.
4) Engineering for Kids Vancouver Island – hands-on STEM activities that inspire curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving.

CFAX Santas Anonymous is Bottle Depot’s Charity of the Month for January. Every returnable in the charity bins goes towards camp subsidies for children in our community through our special grants program. Last year, we supported:
1) Burnside Gorge Community Association (at-risk youth program)
2) The Society for Kids at Tennis (KATS)
3) Victoria Therapeutic Riding Club (therapeutic riding programs for children with diverse abilities)

Save the date for the North Saanich Fire Association’s Annual Tree Chipping Event, where all proceeds support CFAX Santas Anonymous and the local families we serve.

Date: Saturday, January 3, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

📍 Tree Drop-Off: McTavish Fire Hall
📍 Family Activities: Wain Road Fire Hall
(Fire truck rides, hot dogs, hot chocolate, and coffee)

♻️ No-sort bottle drive on site. Bring your holiday recyclables.

🎄 Tree pick-up available for North Saanich and Sidney residents for a minimum $20 donation.
