Do you have an emergency kit in your vehicle? It's always a good idea to have some supplies on hand. . . just in case:

⚠️ blanket
⚠️ first aid kit
⚠️ food that won't spoil (energy bars, etc.)
⚠️ phone charger
⚠️ small shovel
⚠️ sand, salt or kitty litter
⚠️ candle in deep can and matches

The Victoria Volunteer Fire Department is excited to announce that we are planning to host a CPR/AED and General First Aid Training Day! 🩺❀️ πŸ’‰

We’re thrilled to have Lori Pearson, the owner of First Response Training, lead the session, with our dedicated VFD members lending their support to ensure a comprehensive learning experience for all participants.

This training will equip you with essential life-saving skills that can make a difference in emergency situations.

This past weekend, on March 15 and 16, ten dedicated firefighters from our community participated in a comprehensive Medical First Responder recertification course, expertly taught by Lori Pearson from First Response Training.

We are at a loss for words after the passing of a long-time active member of 37 years Neil MacKendrick.

Neil's passion for the fire service never slowed over the many years he was with us. Our sincere condolences go out to his family.
