π WEEKEND RECAP: Medical First Responder Recertification Course π
This past weekend, on March 15 and 16, ten dedicated firefighters from our community participated in a comprehensive Medical First Responder recertification course, expertly taught by Lori Pearson from First Response Training.

Over the course of the weekend, our team engaged in hands-on scenarios and in-depth discussions covering critical topics such as:
π©Έ Blood pressure/ oxygen monitoring
β‘οΈ CPR/ AED
π Glucose level / diabetic assessments
π Epi-pen
π± Choking
π₯Ά Hypothermic
π NARCAN
πͺ’ Tourniquet
π₯ Burn victims
β€οΈ Heart attacks/ angina
𦴠spinal injuries/ C-spine (neck control)

This valuable training ensures that our firefighters are well-prepared to respond effectively in medical emergencies.
