What an incredible afternoon at the Manitoba Legislature for our 4th Annual MLA Appreciation Luncheon on Monday, May 11th!

We were honoured to gather with MLAs, community leaders, ministry partners, sponsors, and friends from across Manitoba for a meaningful time of connection, encouragement, prayer, and conversation. It was a privilege to recognize and appreciate those who faithfully serve our province through public leadership.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored tables, volunteered, spoke, prayed, and helped make this event possible. We are especially grateful for the many conversations shared around the tables and for the opportunity to build bridges across party lines and backgrounds.

Thank you to our guest speaker, Cher Paulson of Living Bible Explorers (LBE), for sharing such an inspiring message, and to all of the MLAs and legislative staff who took time out of their busy schedules to join us.

We continue to pray for wisdom, strength, and encouragement for every elected leader serving Manitoba. 🇨🇦

Today marks a meaningful step forward for us.

Our daily prayers for political leaders in PEI are now being broadcast on InspireFM in Moncton—extending a simple, faithful act of prayer into a wider regional voice.

And this is just the beginning.

InspireFM has graciously invited us to expand these broadcasts into Nova Scotia (coming soon) and into New Brunswick as soon as we can establish a Prayer Coordinator there.

What began as a quiet rhythm of prayer is becoming something larger—a growing canopy of intercession over the Maritimes.

An Easter Sunday Prayer 🙏

This Easter we recognize, again, the desperate need this world has for a Saviour. Lord, You cause wars to end throughout the earth. Lord, You break the weapons and destroy the armories. We are desperate for You, Jesus, to come in power, in spirit and in love to bring hostilities between nations to a close, to bring animosity between people groups to respect and to bring humility into our hearts. You invite us to be still and to know that You are God. We pray for an awareness of the need we have to stop, to rest, and to wait upon you. To know You. To Trust You. To Depend on You. To obey You. And to celebrate You this Easter. Thank-You Father for sending Your Son and sharing Your Spirit with us.

(Psalm 46:9-10)

Une prière pour le dimanche de Pâques 🙏

En cette fête de Pâques, nous reconnaissons une fois encore à quel point ce monde a désespérément besoin d’un Sauveur. Seigneur, c’est Toi qui mets fin aux guerres sur toute la terre. Seigneur, c’est Toi qui brises les armes et détruis les arsenaux. Nous avons désespérément besoin que Tu viennes, Jésus, avec puissance, en Esprit et en amour, pour mettre un terme aux hostilités entre les nations, pour transformer l’animosité entre les peuples en respect, et pour insuffler l’humilité dans nos cœurs. Tu nous invites à rester tranquilles et à savoir que Tu es Dieu. Nous prions pour prendre conscience de notre besoin de nous arrêter, de nous reposer et de t'attendre. De Te connaître. De Te faire confiance. De compter sur Toi. De T'obéir. Et de Te célébrer en cette Pâques. Merci, Père, d'avoir envoyé Ton Fils et d'avoir partagé Ton Esprit avec nous.

A Good Friday Prayer 🙏

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your gifts of unconditional love, mercy, and grace in sending Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who paid the wages of our sin and redeemed us from eternal death and separation from You. May we remember that Jesus is the only way to eternal life and reconciliation with You, as we repent of our sins and make Him Lord and Saviour of our lives. Today, we pray for peace, mercy, and favour over our nation and its leaders, as we follow Jesus’ example of obedience to You and extend His unconditional love to one another during these uncertain and challenging times. Amen.

Prière du Vendredi saint 🙏

Père céleste, merci pour Tes dons d’amour inconditionnel, de miséricorde et de grâce, qui T’ont conduit à envoyer Ton Fils unique, Jésus-Christ, qui a payé le prix de nos péchés et nous a rachetés de la mort éternelle et de la séparation d’avec Toi. Puissions-nous nous souvenir que Jésus est le seul chemin vers la vie éternelle et la réconciliation avec Toi, alors que nous nous repentons de nos péchés et faisons de Lui le Seigneur et le Sauveur de nos vies. Aujourd’hui, nous prions pour la paix, la miséricorde et la faveur sur notre nation et ses dirigeants, alors que nous suivons l’exemple d’obéissance à Toi donné par Jésus et que nous nous transmettons mutuellement Son amour inconditionnel en ces temps incertains et difficiles. Amen.

As many of you know, we lost access to our Prayer Network pages in December. The weight of having to rebuild was enormous and so we prayed and in early January, our access was restored! We are so grateful!

Today, we got an appreciation certificate from MLA Jody Toor for our work in this area. We don’t do it for acknowledgments, but it’s nice when it happens!
