On September 20th, our Leading Influence PEI Legislature Chaplain, Phil Taylor, had the privilege of representing Leading Influence at the Ministry Excellence Awards in Moncton, NB, hosted by Inspire Christian Media Ministries Inc.

It was a wonderful evening celebrating individuals and ministries who are faithfully serving and making a difference in communities across Atlantic Canada.

We’re grateful for Phil and the heart he brings to his role—serving, encouraging and praying for the leaders of Prince Edward Island with consistency and care. We’re also thankful for opportunities like this to connect with others who share a desire to serve their communities well.

A Prayer for Truth and Reconciliation 🙏🧡

God of mercy and grace, on this National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we pause to remember. We remember the Indigenous children who were taken from their families, the lives forever changed by residential schools, and the generations who continue to carry the weight of that history. We grieve what was lost—family, language, culture, dignity and, for too many, life itself. We acknowledge the ways the Church participated in and contributed to this harm, and we ask for your mercy and forgiveness. Today, we pray for survivors, their families and Indigenous communities across Canada. Bring healing where wounds remain, comfort where there is grief, and hope where there has been loss. Teach us to listen with humility, to walk together with respect, and to pursue truth with courage and grace. Make us instruments of reconciliation in your hands. Where relationships have been broken, help us build trust. Where there is misunderstanding, help us listen. Where there is pain, help us respond with compassion. Lead us together toward a future marked by justice, healing, friendship and peace. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

As we come to the close of our 30 Days of Prayer for Canada, we invite you to join Phil Taylor, Leading Influence’s Chaplain in Prince Edward Island, for a special closing prayer and blessing over our nation.

In a time when division and uncertainty can so easily shape our conversations, may we choose a different way—one marked by peace instead of fear, compassion instead of hostility, and presence, humility, and love. ❤️

As we pray, let’s ask God to bless our communities, our leaders, and our nation—and to help each of us carry His hope and grace wherever He has placed us.

Thank you to everyone who has joined us throughout these 30 Days of Prayer. Though this campaign may be coming to an end, our prayers for Canada don’t have to. 🙏

As we reach Day 30, we turn our prayers toward the future of our nation—and especially toward the generations who will inherit the Canada we are shaping today.

Our hope for Canada is not found simply in better circumstances, stronger institutions, or easier days. Our hope is found in God. ❤️

🙏 Today, let’s pray:
• For future generations of Canadians to grow up in a nation marked by hope, peace, compassion, and generosity.
• For children and young people to know their God-given worth, purpose, and identity.
• For leaders today to make wise decisions that will positively impact generations to come.
• For families, churches, schools, and communities to invest faithfully in the next generation.
• For healing where there is division and reconciliation where relationships have been broken.
• For followers of Jesus across Canada to shine His light and carry His hope into their communities.

As we look toward Canada’s future, may we be people who pray with faith, serve with compassion, and live with hope—trusting God with the generations yet to come. 🙏

As we reach Day 29 of our 30 Days of Prayer for Canada, today we’re praying for those who help shape our culture through media, the arts, and digital platforms.

Journalists, filmmakers, musicians, artists, writers, content creators, and others working in media have tremendous influence over the stories we hear, the conversations we have, and the way we see the world.

🙏 Today, let’s pray:
• For journalists and media professionals to pursue truth with wisdom, integrity, and courage.
• For artists, filmmakers, musicians, writers, and creators to use their gifts in ways that bring beauty, hope, and truth into our culture.
• For wisdom and discernment for those creating and sharing content online.
• For truth to rise above misinformation, fear, and division.
• For Christians working in media, arts, and entertainment to reflect Jesus with grace, creativity, and integrity.
• For each of us to be wise about what we watch, read, listen to, and share.

May the words, stories, images, and ideas shaping our nation point people toward what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. ❤️

🇨🇦 Day 28 of our 30 Days of Prayer for Canada: Today, we’re praying for education and students across our nation.

As summer draws to a close and a new school year approaches, students, teachers, administrators, and families are preparing for another season of learning, growth, and new opportunities. ❤️

🙏 Today, let’s pray:
• For students returning to classrooms, colleges, and universities—that they would have wisdom, confidence, and a desire to learn.
• For teachers, educational assistants, administrators, and school staff as they prepare for the year ahead.
• For safety and protection in schools and on campuses across Canada.
• For students who are anxious, struggling, lonely, or facing difficult circumstances at home or at school.
• For parents and caregivers as they encourage and support their children throughout the school year.
• For Christian students and educators to reflect the love, grace, and hope of Jesus in their schools and communities.

Day 27 of our 30 Days of Prayer for Canada: Today, we’re praying for local congregations and church leaders across our nation. 🇨🇦

As churches prepare for a new fall season of ministry, let’s pray for the pastors, leaders, volunteers, and congregations faithfully serving their communities. From Sunday services and children’s ministries to outreach programs, small groups, and countless acts of care—local churches have an incredible opportunity to share the hope and love of Jesus.

🙏 Today, let’s pray:
• For pastors and church leaders as they prepare for the fall ministry season.
• For wisdom, strength, encouragement, and renewed passion for those who faithfully serve.
• For volunteers and ministry teams to be equipped and united as they serve together.
• For churches to be welcoming places where people can encounter Jesus, find community, and experience genuine care.
