Nerd Nite Victoria Nerd Nite is an international event that takes place once a month in many cities all around the world! We started in Victoria BC in 2018 in the VEC.

We feature 3 speakers, 20-25 minute talks on a variety of topics, with a beer and a laugh.

Enthusiastic about scientific discoveries? Curious about the world? Tired of coffee? Need a break from work? Come join us at Nerd Nite, a global monthly event combining the coziness of a pub with exciting scientific talks on any topic of interest, starting this summer in the Victoria Event Centre in downtown Victoria.

The events are open to anyone with a passion for science, whether you work in industry, government, academia or from home, and whether you are into stars, marine life, IT safety, beer brewing, mechanics of acrobatics or 19th century history of tea cups. The world is exhilarating and we love to learn more about it.
