Every Step Counts is an inclusive walking/running program for individuals experiencing challenges with mental health, addiction, poverty and social isolation. Drawing on the wide-reaching and long-lasting benefits of running and team work to foster self-esteem, confidence, energy and positive growth, Every Step Counts participants meet twice a week in Victoria’s downtown core. Particpants meet up

Every Step Counts is supported by the Victoria Foundation, The Victoria Cool Aid Society, Frontrunners and The Jawl Foundation. The success of Every Step Counts has been covered by CHEK, A-Channel, The Globe and Mail, the Times Colonist, CBC, CFAX, Canadian Running Magazine, Impact Magazine, to name a few.
