Darren Reisig — Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame Induction
Last night we celebrated one of our own. Victoria Shamrocks alumnus and Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Famer Darren Reisig was inducted into the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame.
Darren’s playing career set a standard of excellence — from standout years in Junior and Senior lacrosse to a dominant presence in the NLL and proudly representing Canada on the international stage.
Beyond the field, Darren has shaped the future of the sport. As the founder of the Claremont Lacrosse Academy, he has opened pathways for countless players to pursue lacrosse at the post‑secondary level and strengthened our local lacrosse community.
Congratulations, Ziggy — your induction is a well‑earned honor and a lasting tribute to a lifetime of achievement and service to the game. Join us in celebrating Darren and his remarkable legacy.

It was a great day at Cedar Hill Golf Course. The Annual Shamrocks Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament was held. It wasn't the Ryder Cup but the chirps from the 18th were just as good. This was a fitting way to close out the 75th Season of Shamrocks Lacrosse. Thank-you for everyone who attended and supported the Alumni. All proceeds go to our scholarship initiatives.
