Yesterday Members of I.A.T.S.E. Local 168, both current and retired, joined family, friends, and stalwarts of the City's theatre community in remembering and honouring Danny Costain.
The day was sunny and bright, just like Danny himself.
Stories were told, memories were shared, and we celebrated someone who was truly one of a kind.

Oh Danny Boy, the pipes are calling you to your eternal rest. Keep those folks up there dancing!

This is not unexpected , but still very unfortunate.

We at I.A.T.S.E. Local 168 have been honoured to be part of this event from the beginning, when the event was entirely club amd theatre based, including in the Intrepid Theatre Metro Studio.

Fifteen editions of the arts and culture festival were staged over its 18-year lifespan — and none ever posted a profit, says co-founder Nick Blasko.
