Hello I.A.T.S.E. Local 168 workers. Load in and load out calls for Broadway in Victoria Kinky Boots at the Royal Theatre are going out, with the big days July 7 and 15.
We also have a big series of events in early August, from August 4 through August 10. Multiple calls, multiple rooms.
So, help us help you get to work. When you get the call, take a little time to look at your pocket supercomputer, see what you can actually commit to, and respond promptly. Our Dispatch team is great, but when you take forever to respond, it hampers both them and those waiting to hear from Dispatch.
Lastly, we recent have had WAY too many people accept calls and then dump them in short order. This is not okay, and the Local has rules that see you suspended from access to calls for such behaviour. Do not accept calls that you cannot do, be it because you aren't available, aren't fit to do the physical part of the work, or don't have the skills for the position.
