Global Medical Brigades is a student-led, secular, international network of university clubs that travel to developing countries to help aid community development. The University of Victoria Global Brigades is the first Canadian chapter, created in September 2007 with the goal of assisting remote village communities throughout Central America. We have held annual Medical and Dental Brigades in Hon

duras and Panama since and have recently started sending Engineering and Business Brigades to diversify our impact. As a club, we have successfully, and directly, helped thousands of people in the areas of health care and public health sustainability along with helping communities gain access to clean water and economic growth.

We appreciate everyone who came and supported our event last night! It was great time to connect with new people and professionals in healthcare fields. We had a wonderful band, many inspiring speakers and amazing raffle items.
