This is happening tomorrow at Friendship Hall, Clothing sale fundraiser!

On Saturday June 13th, please join us at Friendship Hall (formerly Norway House) for an emporium of gently used and new clothing and accessories at our "Change With Us" fundraising sale to support VNFC Youth programs. Come ready to fill a bag for $25; hanging items will be tagged $10-$25. Cash, credit and debit accepted; coffee and pastries will be available! ☕🥐👕👗 1110 Hillside avenue, lots of parking. ICBC and their Indigenous Employee Resource Group are hosting a National Indigenous Day event!

We are excited to be hosting a National Indigenous Day event on June 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the ICBC office located at 910 Government Street (main floor).

We are currently looking for Indigenous vendors, artists, and creators who may be interested in setting up a table to sell their work, artwork, crafts, beadwork, clothing, food items, or other creations during the event.

Event Details:
• Date: June 17, 2026
• Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Setup Time: Vendors may arrive 1 hour early for setup
• Location: 910 Government Street – Main Floor
• Cost: No charge for vendor space
• Tables and chairs will be provided
• Vendors keep 100% of their profits
• Sandwiches and tea will be provided for vendors

We would love to support and showcase local Indigenous businesses and creators within our community.

May Calendar Update Indigenous Culture & Language

Hello Everyone, here is our May calendar for the team.
*calendar subject to change.

We have the usual activities such as Elders & Seniors Tea Time, Beading Circle, Elders Tech Time, the Elders After ParTEA, after the Community Soup Lunch.

Can't forget about the Guys Coffee Break, Bingo and Community Soup Lunch. Please see the Calendar for details.

Language Programming is in planning mode until Fall.

Interested in Volunteering?

Let one of our team members know. It's a great way to connect to Elders, community and make new friends! Volunteer duties range from food service, table set up/take down, watching the door, clean up, washing dishes and more.

Programming in need of volunteers: Language, Beading Circle, Bingo, Tea Time
