GVVA x Victoria Cycling League race #3. Come for a night of action! New riders orientation at 5pm, open track for warm up at 545pm-625pm, racing begins at 630pm! Scratch, elimination, and keirin. Gear upper limit is 93" (48x14t). See you then!

NEXT VCL RACE IS CANCELLED

Due to unexpected circumstances, the next VCL race in North Saanich on Sunday June 21 will been cancelled. The other North Saanich race on July 5, 2026 will remain as scheduled.

Registered participants can contact us to request a refund or to apply the entry fee to a later VCL race.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Now for something different! VCL #4 is on the track at the Westshore Velodrome on Wednesday May 27.

Location: 1767 Island Highway, Victoria, BC V9B 1J1

Track Length: 333.3 metres.
Surface: Concrete.
Banking: 29 degrees in the turns, 10 degrees on the straights.

IMPORTANT

If you haven't raced track before, you must do a short orientation before racing. If you have questions, contact Alex Hui at [email protected]

Bike Setup: 4:45pm to 5:00pm
Orientation: 5:00pm to 5:45pm
​​Open Track / Warm Up: 5:45pm to 6:25pm
Racing Starts: 6:30pm

Format for categories A, B, and C will be
1) Scratch race
2) Elimination race or Chariot
3) Keirin or Points race

D racers will race 200m TT, 1 lap TT, and a wheelrace

$20 per race (Incl. membership and bike rental). Please bring your own pedals. To beat the traffic we recommend riding your bike to the track.
