Congratulations to Stan Grenda, a longtime member of Malahat Legion Branch #134, who was one of only 19 branch members selected to receive the Legion 100 Centennial Medal for exceptional service. The medal was presented by Sgt-at-Arms Dwight Grieve at Veterans Memorial Lodge.

Stan’s decades of service include serving on the Executive Committee and Colour Party, supporting the annual Poppy Campaign, and helping with countless Legion projects.

Today, Stan calls Veterans Memorial Lodge home. His remarkable commitment to the Legion and to fellow veterans has truly come full circle. 👏

A heartfelt thank you to the Naval Association of Canada Endowment Fund for its recent gift in support of Veterans Memorial Lodge! 💙⚓

Their support will help purchase an Ex N’Flex arm therapy machine, specialized equipment designed to improve mobility, strength and overall wellbeing for people with limited physical function.

Thank you for helping make a meaningful difference for veterans and seniors living at Veterans Memorial Lodge.
