All in support of The Forge
VanIsland Construction Assoc.

Have you heard? Our next BIG event is happening on Thursday October 22, 2026 - and we need YOU to make it happen! Proceeds from this event will be going towards an incredible initiative called The Forge.

The Forge is built by tradespeople for tradespeople. When 80% of all workers in the construction industry, our community, struggle with mental health and addiction… initiatives like these save lives. We couldn’t be more passionate about bringing Builders in the Barn to life to help be apart of the change we want to see.

No amount is too big or too small. Can’t sponsor right now? No worries! Buy some tickets for your team, your coworkers, friends, family (19+), and come have a boot stompin’ good time.

DM us if you are interested! And tickets can be found at the link in our bio. We encourage people to buy tickets now - the sooner, the better. We can’t wait to see you there.

YBN Victoria Presents….
BUILDERS IN THE BARN: Charity Hoedown
Thurs. Oct 22, 2026
Tickets are live… Link in our bio 👀🎟️

This year we’re changing it up! You’ve seen Builders on the Barge, you’ve seen them in the basement… now we give you Builders in the Barn! Though we don’t have a real barn, we do have an incredible venue with Encore.

Proceeds from this event will be going to support The Forge. The Forge is an initiative of the Construction Foundation created by tradespeople, for tradespeople. Built with the guidance of people with lived experience, The Forge understands the unique pressures and challenges that workers in the trades face and provides a place where they can get support without judgement or stigma. Through clinical counselling, peer recovery coaching, treatment navigation, and community connection. The Forge helps workers and their families find the right support and take the next step toward recovery and wellness. At its heart, The Forge is about connection—making sure tradespeople know they’re not alone and have people in their corner who understand what they’re going through.

As work on the She-Shed keeps groovin’ and movin’, we truly couldn’t do it without the amazing support of so many in our community. A MASSIVE thank you to Nick with PND Soil & Gravel Mart for setting us up with the base of this project. Only took 3 hours and 3 people (shout out to Preston with Aryze for doubling Tim & Abby’s shovel speeds).

Stayed tuned because we have some exciting live footage to get to you today! BIG things are happening 👀
