Animal Justice hosted an online panel of 5 very popular animal activist influencers. These influencers have figured out ways to advocate for animals that resonate with millions of people.

Learning how to advocate for animals in a ways is a difficult skill and it is often met with hostility. It is difficult to get people to see beyond their cognitive dissonance. These influencers share their knowledge and experiences advocating for animals online and can help us all master how to communicate the truth effectively about animal agriculture.

BREAKING: A Kings County judge has just granted defendants in the Meyenberg goat rescue case a judicial diversion with favorable terms. All of their charges will be dismissed once they complete 5 months of probation and 40 hours of community service.

Taj, Joe, Carla and Sally were originally charged with felonies earlier this year. The four activists had entered a Meyenberg goat factory farm in 2025 and rescued two babies, Phoebe and Celia, who were emaciated and suffering from respiratory infections. The facility had been documented consistently piling up dead baby goats and their mothers by the dozens. Necropsies of some of the deceased goats showed signs of serious neglect, including starvation. Despite this evidence, the Kings County District Attorney never prosecuted Meyenberg's Vera Goat Dairy, instead focusing their attention on the four rescuers.

Thankfully, today, the Court took one step in the right direction by agreeing that these charges should be dismissed. We hope that the Court's decision will encourage Kings County prosecutors to finally take action to protect the animals suffering in their county.
