The Downtown Vernon Association kicks off the start of Summer, with one of Vernon's most iconic events...
The 32nd Annual Sunshine Festival!
As six city blocks in Downtown Vernon, are transformed into a vehicle-free playground for children and adults.
Speaking of vehicles: it's FREE PARKING DAY, all meters are free (on June 20th).
The 32nd Annual Sunshine Festival is a FREE event, that takes place from 10am-5pm on 30th Ave.
This festival will showcase our own downtown businesses and a some outside vendors. Play games, meet mascots, listen to live music, find new treasures, eat, dance, shop and so much more!
**We have some NEW SURPRISES in store for you and the kids!**
Grab the squad and bask under the Okanagan sun (or cloud) with these attractions and more, sprinkled throughout the event.
- The Food Zone consists of food trucks, picnic tables w/umbrellas, chairs under a large tent, the main stage for bands (on every hour from 10am - 5pm) and more. We will also have food vendors throughout.
- Children's activities can be found in The Kids Zone (the 2900 block). Find Games, Music, A Reptile Show, Face Painting, Balloon Animals and more.
- Countless vendors and eateries, plus food vendors throughout 30th and so, so much more.

The Caetani Centre is inviting the community to celebrate the longest days of the year at the Summer Solstice Music & Market Festival, taking place June 20–21, 2026, on the historic Caetani grounds in Vernon!

The two-day festival combines live music, art, food, and community gathering in a unique outdoor setting. Saturday, June 20, 2:30 to 9 p.m., features a ticketed music festival and market experience with Strange Bazaar vendors, while Sunday, June 21 welcomes the return of the free all-day Strange Bazaar from 1 to 7 p.m., showcasing a vibrant collection of artists, makers, and vendors from across the region.
