💜 Our Hearts Are Broken 💜
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved friend, Donna Lester, who passed away yesterday.
Donna wasn't just our Sunshine Lady—she was the sunshine of Halina. She was a treasured member of our Board of Directors, a devoted volunteer who was here week after week, and someone who simply never knew how to say "no" when someone needed a helping hand.
She loved Bingo, gave the biggest, warmest hugs, welcomed everyone with her beautiful smile and her signature curtsy, and had a way of making every person who walked through our doors feel like they belonged. Her kindness, generosity, laughter, and unwavering dedication made Halina a better place.
Donna gave so much of herself to our Centre and to everyone around her. Her absence will be felt deeply, but the love she shared and the memories she created will remain with us forever.
To Donna's family, we extend our deepest condolences and thank you for sharing such an incredible woman with all of us. We were truly blessed to know her.
Rest easy, our Sunshine Lady. Thank you for every hug, every smile, every laugh, and every act of kindness. We will miss your curtsy at the door, your caring heart, and your beautiful spirit more than words can say.
Until we meet again, Donna… you will always be a part of the Halina family, and you will never be forgotten. 💜
