The Moose Hide Campaign began as a BC-born Indigenous-led grassroots movement to engage men and boys in ending violence towards women and children. Now over 10 years later โ€“ we are all committed to taking action to end this violence.

Wearing the moosehide pin signifies a commitment to honour, respect, and protect the women and children in your life and speak out against gender-based and domestic violence.

Learn more about the goal to end gender-based violence by visiting https://moosehidecampaign.ca/

Today is a special day at the office! AFD London turns 2๏ธโƒฃ!
Join us in wishing our best girl a happy birthday! ๐ŸŽ‰

London plays an important role at Oak Child and Youth Advocacy Centre. Her job is to offer comfort and calm to children and youth who come through our doors, whether it's for meetings, forensic interviews, court appearances, or remote testimony.

She's a hard-working gal and we wish her another great year! With lots of treats, of course ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ—

In 2020, and prepared to welcome what would become one of our most valuable teammatesโ€” Cirque. And after 6 years of dedicated service, we are now preparing for her long and happy retirement.

Throughout her career, she has supported more than 300 children, youth and their families as they navigated some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Her impact cannot be measured in numbers alone โ€” it lives in every brave story shared, every moment of calm she brought, and every child and person who felt supported because she was there. From courtrooms to interviews, and countless meetings, she offered quiet comfort, steady companionship, and a sense of safety to those who came through our doors at Oak Child and Youth Advocacy Centre.
She helped create spaces where young people could feel a little less alone, a little more at ease, and a little more heard.

As she begins this well-deserved retirement, we celebrate her service, her golden heart, and the lives she has touched.

Cirque, thank you for everything. You will always be part of this work and our community. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿพ

We also want to thank the people who raised her, the team that gave her the skills to do such an important job (), the team that worked with her () and provided for her (), and her two families that opened their homes to her, and continue to care for her.

If youโ€™d like to follow Cirque into retirement, follow her page !
