Weihnachtsgrüße
Dank Ihrer Hilfe hatten wir ein sehr arbeitsreiches und erfolgreiches Jahr. Wir haben über 900 nahrhafte Mahlzeiten an Kinder und Mütter in Wayuu-Gemeinden in La Guajira, Kolumbien, verteilt. Unser Recyclingprogramm war ein Erfolg und Kunststoffe, die früher auf der Mülldeponie landeten, werden jetzt zur Herstellung von Spielplätzen und Sportgeräten verwendet. Dies war ein bedeutender Schritt in die richtige Richtung. Die Gemeinden, mit denen wir zusammenarbeiten, sind entschlossen, mit uns zusammenzuarbeiten, und wir freuen uns auf das Jahr 2025. Das neue Jahr bringt viele Herausforderungen mit sich und unser Ziel ist die Wiederherstellung/Rekonstruktion einer Umkehrosmose-Wasseranlage, um über 100 Familien eine zuverlässige Trinkwasserquelle zu bieten.
Dies ist erst der Anfang und mit Ihrer Hilfe können wir dies erreichen.
Auch die Wiederherstellung von Lebensräumen steht ganz oben auf unserer Prioritätenliste. Die Zusammenarbeit mit den örtlichen Parkbehörden wird es uns ermöglichen, geschädigte Trockenwälder durch die Anpflanzung einheimischer Arten und die Aufklärung der örtlichen Gemeinschaften wiederherzustellen.
Einheimische Lebensräume sind widerstandsfähig und mit Ihrer Hilfe können wir daraus eine Erfolgsgeschichte machen.
Terramada ist auch belastbar und wir streben danach, unsere Ziele zu erreichen.

saludos de temporada
Gracias a su ayuda, hemos tenido un año muy ocupado y exitoso. Proporcionamos más de 900 comidas nutritivas a niños y madres de comunidades Wayuu en La Guajira Colombia. Nuestro programa de reciclaje ha sido un éxito y los plásticos que antes iban a parar al vertedero, ahora se utilizan para crear parques infantiles y equipamiento deportivo. Este ha sido un paso significativo en la dirección correcta. Las comunidades con las que colaboramos están comprometidas a trabajar con nosotros y esperamos con ansias el año 2025. El nuevo año trae muchos desafíos y nuestro objetivo es restablecer/reconstruir una planta de agua de ósmosis inversa para proporcionar una fuente confiable de agua potable a más de 100 familias.
Esto es sólo el comienzo y con tu ayuda podemos hacerlo realidad.
La restauración del hábitat también ocupa un lugar destacado en nuestra lista de prioridades. Trabajar con las autoridades de parques locales nos permitirá restaurar los bosques secos degradados plantando especies nativas y educando a las comunidades locales.
Los hábitats nativos son resilientes y con su ayuda podemos hacer de esta una historia de éxito.

Season's greetings
Thanks to your help, we have had a very busy and successful year. We provided in excess of 900 nutritious meals to children and mothers in Wayuu communities in La Guajira Colombia. Our recycling program has been a success and plastics that were previously bound to the landfill, now are used to create playgrounds and sport equipment. This has been a significant step in the right direction. The Communities we collaborate with are committed to work with us and we look forward to 2025. The new year brings many challenges and our goal is to reinstate/reconstruct a reverse osmosis water plant to provide a reliable potable water source to 100+ families.
This is just the beginning, and with your help we can make this happen.

Habitat restoration is also high on our priority list. Working with local Parks authorities will allow us to restore degraded dry forests by planting native species and educating local communities.

Native habitats are resilient and with your help, we can make this a success story.

Terramada is also resilient and we strive to achieve our goals.
