Perogies and Jam is pleased to provide a $500 scholarship to a student who recently attended high school in the Vegreville area and is now enrolled in a post secondary school focusing on music studies. Applicants will be considered based on their involvement in the Vegreville music community, their performing at events which Perogies and Jam hosted or coordinated, and their current enrollment in post secondary studies.

Please note that the submission deadline is Thursday, January 4, 2025 and the successful candidate will be notified on or about January 15, 2025.
Please be advised that the award is intended to be presented at a public music event in Vegreville during the month of February 2025 at which the successful candidate may be expected to perform.
All application information will be held confidential, and candidate permission will be confirmed prior to announcing the award of any scholarships.
Perogies and Jam is a not-for-profit organization based in Vegreville which focuses on building the skills of local musicians through hosting performance events, conducting workshops, collaborating with music teachers, providing music at local community events, supporting local musician jams, and bringing in established musicians to encourage and inspire local musical talent.
