Earlier today, Climate Pulse, in collaboration with the City of Toronto Urban Forestry Department , joined hands with dedicated environmental enthusiasts to plant a variety of trees at Masseygrove Park in Etobicoke. From fruit-bearing species to native parkland trees such as oak, maple, and spruce, the planting brings new life to the park, creating habitats for wildlife while offering shade, cleaner air, and nourishment to the community. It was a powerful partnership that reflected our shared commitment to environmental conservation, community wellness, and the restoration of green spaces in our city.
Planting these trees in the end of summer season gives them the best chance to establish strong roots, ensuring they thrive for generations to come. For the people of Etobicoke, these trees will not only provide fresh fruits and vibrant greenery but also support mental well-being, recreational enjoyment, and a stronger connection with nature. For biodiversity, they create a sanctuary where birds, pollinators, and small animals can flourish. Together, we are growing a healthier, greener future for both people and the planet
