Welcome (Back) Antonio Chimienti, KNSC’s new Technical Director!
The Kleinburg Nobleton Soccer Club is proud to announce the appointment of Antonio Chimienti as the club’s Technical Director, effective February 1st, 2026.
KNSC is excited to embark on this bold new journey with Antonio Chimienti as Technical Director and looks forward to the positive impact his leadership will have across all levels of the club.
Antonio returns to our club having been a highly respected and valued member of KNSC’s competitive coaching staff for six years. During his previous tenure, he played a significant role in advancing the club’s technical standards and competitive programming, earning the trust of players, families, and fellow coaches alike.
In his new role, Antonio will work closely with the technical team at U.S. Sassuolo Calcio to deliver their proven player development models to our coaches and parents. As part of this initiative, he will serve as KNSC’s primary technical link for the club’s Generazione S project, strengthening our international alignment and developmental pathway.
Under Antonio’s leadership, KNSC will begin a comprehensive restructuring of its Technical Division to align with the methodology, principles, and long-term vision of Canada Soccer and U.S. Sassuolo Calcio. As part of this restructuring, the club is also pleased to announce the appointment of our new goalkeeper coaches, Nikita Moriarity and Spiro Koskinas. Both Nikita and Spiro will work closely with the Technical Director to deliver specialized, focused goalkeeper training and development across the club.
This strategic direction represents a bold new chapter for KNSC and reinforces our commitment to proven, evidence based player development.
Antonio will be supported by David Kelly, Technical Manager of Coach Development, who continues to be a highly valued resource within the club’s technical leadership group.
Antonio holds a Canada Soccer Youth Licence, a UEFA B Licence, and a university degree in Sports Sciences from Italy, bringing both academic and practical expertise to the role.
