Tomorrow, on the 27th of May, 2026, 283 Royal Canadian Air Cadets will be hosting our Mess Dinner & Awards Night at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 609 in Brampton from 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM.

The Mess Dinner is one of the oldest and most important traditions in the Canadian Armed Forces, bringing cadets and staff together in a formal setting to celebrate teamwork, respect, discipline, and squadron spirit. Throughout the evening, cadets will take part in traditional customs including formal processions, ceremonial toasts, speeches, awards presentations, and mess etiquette that has been carried through generations of military tradition.

All cadets are expected to attend in proper mess dress or formal attire. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the Legion.

We look forward to an evening of recognition, tradition, and celebrating the accomplishments of our squadron together!
