🚒The Vaughan Firefighters Benevolent Committee 🚒 would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this fundraiser such a success.

A special thank you goes out to our incredible Humber College Fire Pre-Service volunteers for donating your time, energy, and hard work throughout the day. Your support played a huge role in making this event possible.

We’d also like to thank Canadian Tire Woodbridge for generously allowing us to use your parking lot and helping provide a space for our community to come together for two amazing causes.
Because of the overwhelming support from our community, we were proud to raise $4,036 on the day!

VPFFA are honoured to be attending the 29th Annual Ontario Professional Fire Fighters Association Convention this week as we come together to conduct important provincial-level business, collaborate on the issues impacting our profession, and continue advocating for firefighters across Ontario.

This evening, we gather in reflection and remembrance during the Memorial Service, honouring this year’s Line of Duty Deaths (LODDs) — paying tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of those who gave everything in service to their communities.
We remember. We honour. We carry their legacy forward.

Late Tuesday afternoon Vaughan Fire was called to the area of Snidercroft Avenue for a reported grass fire near the rail tracks. Upon arrival crews encountered a large wind driven fire that would eventually spread to trailers and other miscellaneous contents. There were no reported injuries.

What an incredible day at the 4th Annual VPFFA Charity Golf Tournament at Nobleton Lakes Golf Club! ⛳️

On behalf of the Vaughan Professional Fire Fighters Association Benevolent Committee, thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored, donated, volunteered, and supported yesterday’s tournament. Your generosity, energy, and community spirit helped make the day a tremendous success.

Thank you to everyone who came out today to pay their respects and stand together in honour of Captain D’Agostino.
Your presence meant more than words can express to the family, friends, and the entire fire service community. The unity, support, and brother and sisterhood shown today was a true reflection of the respect held for a remarkable leader, firefighter, and person.
A special thank you to the VPFFA Honour Guard for your professionalism, dignity, and dedication in providing such a powerful tribute. You represented our service with pride and honour, and helped make today’s farewell truly memorable.

We would also like to sincerely thank our brothers and sisters from Brampton Brampton Professional Firefighters Association IAFF Local 1068, Richmond Hill Richmond Hill Professional Fire Fighters Association, and Markham for covering our stations, allowing our members the opportunity to attend the funeral service. Your support and solidarity did not go unnoticed and are deeply appreciated.

Rest in peace, Captain. Your legacy will never be forgotten.
