After the first PRCC Youth Entrepreneur Challenge in 2025, we were thrilled to connect some of our five young entrepreneurs with opportunities to grow their businesses, whether it was a potential new customer or a seasoned mentor.

We're excited to see what the 2026 cohort brings!

Encourage a young person in your life to consider applying to the program. Whether they already have a side-gig or just an idea, the mentoring and connections will be invaluable on their path forward.

👉Calling all local students in grades 7-12 who are already running a side-hustle, have a business idea they want to develop, or are interested in an entrepreneurial career path.

We are thrilled to launch our second PRCC Youth Entrepreneur Challenge. This is a local opportunity for students to pitch their business idea to a panel of judges to win up to $500 cash, gaining skills and building confidence through mentorship along the way.

UPDATE: School presentations are this week, so the deadline to enter is now April 20.

GRANT OPPORTUNITY:

The Indigenous Youth Housing Internship Program creates opportunities for First Nation, Inuit and Métis youth to gain valuable work experience and on-the-job training while supporting organizations in addressing housing needs. The program, through Canada Mortgage & Housing Corporation, helps youth build skills and start careers in housing or related fields.
