Today, our team gathered to share a meal, connect, and honour the richness of Filipino culture 🇵🇭❤️ As we mark one year since the devastating Lapu-Lapu Day tragedy in Vancouver, we wanted to take a moment to remember those we lost and stand in solidarity with the Filipino community.
Food has a way of bringing people together, and sharing this delicious Filipino meal felt like a small but meaningful act of remembrance and love. We are thinking of all those affected, and we remain committed to being a compassionate presence in our community.

This National Volunteer Week, we're celebrating the extraordinary people who give their time, compassion, and care to our community, including the dedicated board members who guide Vancouver Hospice Society.

From governance to bedside presence, our volunteers show up in countless ways to ensure no one faces end of life alone. We are so grateful for each and every one of you.
