We had a fantastic weekend in Kansas City, MO this weekend. Thank you to everyone who came to watch us at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral on Saturday...

05/28/2026

As spring turns to summer, we gather one final time to celebrate the complete journey—from the old Welsh tradition to our vibrant modern community, from individual voices to lasting brotherhood. Songs of Home and Horizon welcomes back alumni for a musical reunion that honours both our Welsh choral heritage and the diverse family of men we’ve built together.

Since 1980, men from every background have found something in this choir that modern life too often denies us: a place to be vulnerable, to connect deeply, and to express what words alone cannot. This special finale reunites current members with returning alumni—men who once stood where we stand, discovered the healing power of the Welsh choral tradition, and learned that being part of something larger than yourself changes everything.

Featuring the music that has defined our season—from Leonard Cohen’s timeless “Hallelujah” to traditional favorites like “Fields of Athenry,” “We’ll Keep a Welcome,” and “The Wellerman”—we’ll close our year the way those Welsh founders would have wanted: with gratitude, with strength found in each other, and with voices raised together.

To our alumni: return and remember why you started singing. To our guests: discover why men from every walk of life keep coming back, year after year, to honour this tradition and stand shoulder to shoulder in song.

Welcome home. Welcome back. The tradition continues.

ITEMS OF INTEREST

Welsh Voices: Zoom Presentation Sun. April 26 at 2PM Easrtern/1PM Central
"None could go against the King of England: Crouchback and the History of Medieval Wales."
After the assassination of Llywelyn ap Gruffydd in 1282, King Edward I of England set about eliminating the Welsh language, culture, and history to the best of his ability, even to the point of expunging any mention of the Welsh royal court from public documents and placing himself in the lineage of the great Welsh hero, Arthur. He took the crown, the piece of the true cross, and even the title, Prince of Wales, which from then on would be bestowed on the eldest son of the King of England. This talk by author Sarah Woodbury places the ambush and murder of Llywelyn ap Gruffydd within the context of Welsh history.
