Vancouver African Violet and Gesneriad Club

Our first meeting of the new season got off to a great start!

Michael and Garth, two of the judges from our show in May, led an informative hands-on workshop on grooming plants for show. Members picked up some helpful tips and had an opportunity to practise their grooming skills.

Thank you to everyone who joined us—it was wonderful to begin another season of learning, sharing and enjoying our love of African violets and other gesneriads together!

🌿 Join Us for the Vancouver African Violet & Gesneriad Club Annual General Meeting! 🌿

We’re looking forward to gathering together on Sunday, June 7th for our AGM at VanDusen Gardens. This is your opportunity to hear about the past club year, review our financials, help shape the direction of the club for the coming year, and connect with fellow gesneriad lovers.

We’ll also have:
🌱 Member Show & Tell
🌱 Member-grown gesneriad sales table
🌱 $2 raffle starter plants
🌱 Membership renewal forms available

Our club season runs September through June, similar to a school year, and memberships are just $25. If you'd like to get an early start on renewing or joining for the upcoming season, we’ll be happy to help.

Everyone is welcome — bring a friend and come enjoy an afternoon with fellow African violet and gesneriad enthusiasts!
