Canada Disability Benefit (CDB) cheque payments will likely be delayed this October due to postal disruptions. 🔔

While we wait for postal disruptions to resolve, Service Canada is encouraging CDB recipients to switch their payment method to direct deposit. However, switching to direct deposit today does not guarantee that your CDB payment will arrive on Thursday, October 16.

It takes one to two weeks to process the change in your preferred payment method. Setting up your direct deposit is the best way to avoid delays in receiving future payments!

🔗 Find instructions to set up your direct deposit on our CDB FAQ page, canadadisabilitybenefit.ca/faqs
