This role will be a trusted partner to departments across the organization, helping teams understand and adopt data- and AI-related policies, processes, and

best practices. Working closely with IT's Data & Innovation team, this role will also support training and capacity-building efforts that advance data literacy and help foster a data-driven culture.

The ideal candidate is someone who has:

✅ 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, data, technology, or related roles within the social sector

✅ Demonstrated experience gathering business requirements, documenting processes, and coordinating initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.

This year, 42 BIPOC-led organizations across B.C. are receiving $6.3 million through LEVEL BIPOC Grants, with $50,000 a year for three years to support their work.

LEVEL BIPOC Grants are an important part of how we address stark inequities in funding. By offering flexibility and stability, these grants help support BIPOC-led organizations respond to what their communities need most.

This year’s grant recipients demonstrated a deep understanding of the cultures, languages and identities within their communities. Many also brought a sense of joy and hope to their applications, rather than only focusing on needs and challenges.

Applications are open for the 2026 Participatory Action Research (PAR) Grants!

These grants support health-related research projects co‑led by community members and researchers that seek to understand the root causes of pressing issues that negatively affect people's health and well-being.

We are offering two grant streams to reflect the various stages of participatory action research:
💡Convene: to support the early work of teams developing their research questions and project plan
🔎Investigate: to help teams answer a research question and share knowledge to encourage action in their community.

Young people are already living with the effects of public policy. We believe they should have a voice in shaping it too.

Applications are now open for the 2027 LEVEL Youth Policy Program, welcoming Indigenous and racialized immigrant and refugee youth ages 19–29 living in B.C.! No formal policy education or experience is required.

Participants will build their understanding of public policy, learn from experienced leaders and advocates, and develop their ideas alongside a supportive community of peers.

Celebrate the creativity and impact of DTES artists at the annual EMERGE Showcases!

In partnership with Carnegie Community Centre, we're proud to celebrate the talented recipients of the DTES Small Arts Grants through this year's EMERGE Gallery Show, Performances, Film Screenings and Market.

Since 2010, the DTES Small Arts Grants program has supported artists whose creative practices are rooted in the Downtown Eastside, helping bring powerful stories and perspectives to life.

Among the program's many inspiring recipients is Eileen Clabburn, a mosaic artist whose journey has come full circle. Prior to becoming a grant recipient, Eileen has also been a donor to Vancouver Foundation, where she supports the Community Impact Fund.
