Another heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us today for our weekly Sunday rally.

In the midst of yet another military escalation, your presence is a reminder that many people refuse to accept endless war as the only option. Time and again, we are told that more bombing, more destruction, and more suffering are necessary. Yet after years of bloodshed the result has been more grief, more trauma, and more innocent lives lost.

Palestinian civilians continue to bear a devastating toll. Families are mourning, entire communities have been shattered, and children continue to be among the victims. The killing of a seven-month-old baby is a heartbreaking reminder of the human cost of this war and of the urgent need for a different path.

Many of us believe that these repeated escalations serve political interests helping sustain a government that has failed to offer a genuine path toward peace, equality, or a just future for Palestinians and Israelis alike.

Thank you for continuing to show up, speak out, and stand in solidarity with Palestinians and all those suffering from violence and war. Together, we will keep calling for an immediate end to the killing, respect for human rights and a future built on justice, freedom, dignity, and peace for all. 🕊️

We cannot accept endless violence and suffering as the new normal.

Thank you for continuing to show up, again and again, in solidarity with our friends, families, and communities in Israel, Palestine, and Lebanon. Your presence matters.

As long as lives are at risk and human rights are under threat, we will continue to raise our voices for peace, justice, and dignity for all.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today at Vancouver City Hall.

Week after week people continue to come together in solidarity with Palestinians and to call for an end to the devastating violence affecting civilians in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and across the region.

Thank you to everyone who attended, whether this was your first rally or your fortieth. Your presence helps ensure that the suffering of those living through war, displacement, military occupation, settler violence, and humanitarian crisis is not forgotten. It is a reminder that people around the world continue to care, continue to pay attention, and continue to speak out.

A special thank you to our guest who travelled from Victoria to join us today. We were inspired to hear about the interest in creating a local chapter in Victoria and expanding this community of solidarity beyond Vancouver. Building connections across cities strengthens our collective voice and helps ensure that these issues remain visible.

Together, we continue to call for an end to the war in Gaza an end to the violence in Lebanon an end to the escalating abuses in the West Bank and for the protection of human rights and civilian life everywhere.

Thank you for standing with Palestinians and all those affected by conflict, injustice, and displacement. Your solidarity matters.

See you next Sunday.✊🏽🕊️

Every Sunday, we gather because we refuse to normalize mass death, forced displacement, collective punishment, prisoner abuse, and the ongoing destruction of Gaza. We gather because each day of this war adds to an already unbearable toll of preventable suffering.

As the wars continue , tens of thousands have been killed or displaced, families shattered, and entire communities destroyed. The destruction in Gaza is immense and impossible to ignore.

We are deeply alarmed by statements and policies that point toward permanent displacement, annexation, or the further erosion of Palestinian rights. We reject any future built on domination, dispossession, and endless war.

We also refuse to look away from reports of abuse against prisoners and detainees, including allegations of torture, sexual violence, degrading treatment, and violations of basic human rights. Every person, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, or political identity, is entitled to dignity and protection under the law.

We mourn all civilian lives lost. We stand with those grieving loved ones, searching for missing family members, enduring displacement, imprisonment, injury, and profound loss, and struggling to survive amid ongoing violence and uncertainty.

Our presence is a reminder that another path is still possible.

A future grounded in equality rather than supremacy.
A future grounded in freedom rather than control.
A future grounded in justice rather than vengeance.

We gather not because it is easy, but because it is necessary.

Another week, another rally.
Another week of unbearable loss, devastation, displacement, and killing.
Another week in which the world watches Gaza burn while families continue to bury their loved ones, search through ruins, and struggle to survive.

Today, on Jerusalem Day, extremist marches once again moved through the Old City of Jerusalem. Palestinian residents, shop owners, and families faced intimidation, harassment, and violence. Throughout the day, volunteers from Protective Presence stood alongside residents, documenting attacks, accompanying families, and helping create a measure of safety in impossible circumstances.

Their presence matters.
Their courage matters.
Refusing to look away matters.

We stand with everyone working toward a different future — one built on equality, human dignity, freedom, accountability, and peace for all who live between the river and the sea.

Show your support.
Raise your voice.
Stand against genocide, occupation, collective punishment, racism, and political violence.

Join us.
Because this is not a ceasefire.
Because the killing has not stopped.
Because every human life has equal value.
