Many of you will have seen the news this morning about BC signinga deal with the Govt of Canada to ensure universal access to diabetes medications and supplies. At this time, they are still reviewing whether AID coverage is to be included in this. We are also very concerned that we will not be given the option to choose from different Health Canada approved systems, and as we know, one size does NOT fit all when it comes to our diabetes care and treatment.

II urge you all to please visit AID4BC.ca and contact your local MLA to make sure they know this is important to you. It is more meaningful than ever now!!!

Wyatt, diagnosed with T1D at 14 years old, was inspired to open this Fraser Health approved Sauna/Cold Plunge when saw the positive impact this practice had on his own mental and physical well being.

PS- Fort Langley is doing an incredible immersive holiday shopping adventure that champions local small businesses, called &crum from Nov 30th – Dec. 15th and its totally worth checking out on a date night or with the family! I spied free hot chocolate in case you have a low.
